Are you fond of reading comic book when you were younger, back in the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s?  So you are definitely familiar with the Marvel superheroes-such as Captain America, Iron Man, Spiderman and many more.  They were really, really super popular at that time (and up to these days).  Every kid around the world knows these comic book characters.  Well, who wouldn’t?

And as the technology rises to a greater degree, movie producers began to give life and movement to these popular characters through Movies.  These movies became blockbusters and the comic book characters became great movie characters.

Adding to these sets of great movie characters are new fictional characters from various comic book sources, bestselling novels and other story books.

Such popularity is so prominent that in every cosplay event, these movie heroes and characters were always represented by so many enthusiastic cosplayers who are also fans of these characters.  These movie characters are then replicated so many times by cosplay models.

We’ve gone through searching the internet’s YT, reading blogs and comments from certified cosplay bloggers and surfing those cosplay websites to find out who are the most cosplayed movie characters.  Like in every major cosplay events, these characters are always present.

Here are a few of them:

Deadpool:  This character is also originally from the Marvel comics.  It was first introduced in Marvel’s The New Mutants #98 which was published in February 10, 1991.  It was released as a movie in February 2016.

Harley Quinn:  This supervillain character appeared in American comic books that were published by DC Comics.  Her first appearance was actually in September 1992 for Batman: The Animated Series.  Harley Quinn character became more popular when the Suicide Squad was released in 2016.

Walt Disney’s Anna and Elsa:  From the phenomenal success of Frozen, an animated film released by Walt Disney in 2013, came two unforgettable characters, sisters Anna and Elsa.  Children and adults alike have expressed total appreciation of the film, of its major characters and the songs.

Aside from being fans of these characters, perhaps another contributing factor for choosing these characters is that the costumes for cosplay are quite simple and easy to find.

A great deal of these costumes can be found from the numerous online stores in the internet.  Or from the authentic cosplay costume creators around town who have sets of costumes that are up for sale for you to buy or solely for rent only.  And if you are up for some artistic considerations, you may decide to design and create your own.
